The Minnesota Christmas Tree
Association of tree growers has worked hard to produce high quality
trees and is promoting wider acceptance of REAL Christmas trees.
Specific work is performed on each tree as it grows to attain the
height, size and shape, which will appeal to the family who will
select the tree to grace their home at Christmas.
Research into new and exotic
Christmas tree species is currently underway by the MCTA. Over
twenty different species will be evaluated for form, color, growth
rates, and many cultural practices. It is an exciting opportunity
for future Christmas tree sales.
